By using NammaVelai, you agree to these terms. This is a free platform that connects workers and employers in Tamil Nadu. You must be 18 or older. You agree to post only genuine, lawful job listings and accurate worker profiles. You may not use this platform for fraud, harassment, spam, or any illegal activity. We may remove any listing or user that violates these terms.

🔒 2. Privacy Policy

What we collect: Only what you voluntarily provide — name, phone number, skill, city, and job details. We never collect Aadhaar, PAN, bank details, passwords, or exact home address.

How phone numbers work: To protect your privacy, phone numbers are shown masked (e.g. +91 80567 •••••) to other users. Contact happens through the WhatsApp button, so you choose who to respond to. Please note: because this is an early free platform, you should only share further personal details with people you trust.

How we use data: Only to show your job or profile to other users. We never sell, rent, or share your data for marketing.

⚠️ 3. Disclaimer

NammaVelai is only a platform that connects workers and employers. We do not employ anyone, guarantee any job, verify any employer or worker, or take part in any payment, salary, or agreement between users. All listings are posted by third parties. We are not responsible for the accuracy of any listing, the conduct of any user, or the outcome of any job. Use your own judgement and verify independently.

🚨 Never pay money to get a job. No genuine employer asks workers to pay a fee, deposit, or "registration charge" to get hired. If anyone asks for money, it is likely a scam — report them immediately.

🗑️ 4. Data Deletion Policy

You can delete your data at any time. To request removal of your job listing or worker profile, contact [email protected] or WhatsApp +91 80567 20801 with your registered name and phone number. We will remove your data within 7 business days. Job listings are also automatically removed 30 days after posting.

🤝 5. Community Guidelines

To keep NammaVelai safe and trusted for everyone:

• Post only real jobs and honest profiles.
• Treat workers and employers with respect and dignity.
• Never ask for or pay any money to get a job.
• Do not post fake, duplicate, illegal, or misleading listings.
• Do not post jobs for anyone under 18.
• Report suspicious listings using the 🚩 Report button.
• Block users who misbehave using the 🚫 Block button.

Users who break these rules may be removed from the platform.

👶 6. Age Requirement

NammaVelai is strictly for users aged 18 and above. By registering you confirm you are 18 or older. We do not knowingly allow listings that target or employ minors.

💯 7. Free Platform

NammaVelai is currently 100% free for all users. There are no hidden charges, subscription fees, or commissions on any job placement. Workers never pay.

🔄 8. Changes to These Policies

We may update these policies as the platform grows. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated terms. Last updated: June 2026.
